I was never sure that this piece would work for me from the concept and clips on Ben’s website and wondered whether his 10E piece would work better. After a few conversations and shared observations on some you tube video’s about it (not the best medium I suspect) Ben sent me 2 pieces. This one (Large chamber) and my magic piece (Standard chamber).

As you might expect. it plays equally as well as the other piece. The roll over is more pronounced in appearance.

Tonally, I would have been pretty happy with it had it not been compared to it’s sibling piece. Don’t get me wrong this ranks in my all time greats for good reason but to my ear, the highs are more refined on my tier 1 pieces.
