This one is the 7*

I bought it new and it is actually more like a 7 on my gauge. Its untouched from new but I believe some hand facing got carried out on these pieces before going on sale.

This really filled a hole on my progression away from the High Baffle pieces. It’s a bright link and maybe gets a little thin with hard reeds but RJS 3S down to 2M make it sing well. Possibly softer reeds still but I don’t use anything softer than the 2M.

It has power over modern Tone Edge links and is a better piece for me than the 90th anniversary Slant Signature (otherwise known as New Vintage Slant)  pieces produced by Babbitt.
