This is the soul mate to my 1958 King Super 20.

It’s a ‘Fat Body’ offset M and I think it is in original condition. The drop baffle has the sharpness removed at the trailing edge (may have been like that since new) but the denim marks are present on the table. For some time, I thought someone had tampered with it but in other ‘for sale’ adverts I have seen irregularities at the spot where the baffle and chamber meet. In fact I had another one (not scoop bill) and got rid of it for that very reason as I thought it to be altered. Since owning this piece, I have seen at least another 2 similar. I know lots of things were inconsistent with bergs back then including the facing size. I can’t remember what this one measures off hand. Who cares!
